Lacquer Plan: Piao Vase

Traditionally we use wood, ceramics and metal as body materials. Yet as the trends and eras shifted, so should body materials. In this peace of lacquer work, we use a fabric body as the base of the bodiless lacquer; consequently, the softness of fabric creates a contrast with the hardening caused by anointing.
Through sawing the waterproof fabric body piece by piece, and anointing the bottom side, weight is successfully provided for the vase to stand.
